Plot
Paul is a deputy Tahsildar. He has a daughter, Sherin, who is married to Allen. The couple has a son, Kuttu. In an accident, Sherin was killed, and after a few months, Allen married Sneha. After a year, Paul visits his son-in-law and grandson. He is shocked to see that Allen has forgotten Sherin so soon. He doubts if his daughter’s accidental death is fabricated. What happens next? Is his doubt right? Did he confirm it? The rest of the story deals with it.
Star Performance
Suraj is fantastic with his emotions. His expressions are fabulous. The experienced actor proves his worth in bringing minute expressions on his face. Tovino and Aishwarya had also done their part well.
Analysis
The story is well-written by the duo, Bobby and Sanjay. The non-linear narration adds some interest to watch the sequences keenly. But, at times, the audience is confused, whether they are watching the past or the present, as the story travels in a year's gap. The father-daughter relationship is depicted neatly, and the pain a father faces after his daughter’s death is shown perfectly. Suraj takes up the role with ease and delivers fantastically and this is the biggest plus to the film. Tovino and Aishwarya fit in the roles, and the casting team receives appreciation for choosing excellent actors.

The film comes with a neat screenplay and narration with the perfect presentation of the stars. If the performances are so natural, the audience is automatically drawn towards the film. Kaanekkanne – watch-worthy!
